Superb news! The Higher Education courses at City of Sunderland College have been named the best in the region for student satisfaction (which also means we're in the top 5% of Higher Education providers in the country).

As the survey shows, student satisfaction is as important to us as our course content. So if you were thinking of studying in the North East, Sunderland has a lot to offer.

Changes to the Course

Due to changes in Government funding policy, Sunderland University will not be offering Forensic Science, Chemical and Pharmaceutical Science (CPS) or Pharmacology as a route from the Foundation programmes here at COSC for the academic year 2009-2010.

However, the course still has excellent progression routes through the Biomedical Sciences degree at Sunderland and more courses than ever accept our "Level Zero" programme as an alternative to A-levels!
